We met Sara & Josh at one of our first weddings we ever shot. We all had so much fun that when they got engaged soon after, Sara called us for their wedding, which we sadly were already booked for but we did get to shoot their engagement session which we were excited about.  Check out the fabulous Sarah & Joshua. Matthew and Susie have a cute story!  They first met back in middle school where they spent hours on the play ground together and daily had lunch “dates” yet Susie was unaware of Matthew’s infatuation with her. I can’t begin to tell you how much fun we had with Kathryn at her bridals in Ft Worth at the Ft Worth Botanical Gardens.  Her beautiful gown, glowing smile and great personality just shines through these photos.  I had such a hard time choosing favorites to post since there were so many fun ones.  Here are just a few photos from this beautiful Aggie bride’s bridal photos.

So we have the greatest story with this fabulous couple.  Our 2nd cruise Jonathan & I ever took together was out of Los Angeles, CA and was the cruise to set the pace of us falling in love with cruising.  We boarded our boat ready to keep to ourselves and relax. We head to dinner the first night and are seated with 2 other couples that just struck us.  Pete & Carolyn were one of those couples.  After that first dinner Jon & I were so impressed at how perfect they were together. They could finish each other’s sentences and would be laughing at the other ones joke before they were finished. They were fabulous!  After 7 days of fun in the middle of the sea our adventure ended yet we remained in touch.  Just a year later we hear they are engaged and we were honored to have the opportunity to do this engagement session with them while they were in town for a friend’s wedding (see Rachael Holloway Hendon’s wedding).  Thank you Pete & Carolyn for being so awesome!  Check out this awesome Deep Ellum engagement photo shoot!

Hi Everyone

We are back in Dallas and we must admit, we missed the good ol’ DFW!  While we enjoyed San Juan, St Thomas, St John, Antigua, Bermuda and NYC we are happy to be home.  Here are a few photos from our insane 11 days compliments of my sister and mom’s camera…yes, photos by someone other than JIP.  Of course, we have our own set and those are still to come.  In the mean time…here is our story:

So we hopped on a plane

So we could hang out here: San Juan, Puerto Rico

Then we hopped on a boat

So we could hang out here: St Thomas, VI

Then we hopped on a ferry from St Thomas over to St John for a bit where we snagged this: St John, VI

From here we hopped back on our boat, went to bed and woke up here: Antigua

Where we took a tour of the island on a bus with Trevor a local.  He took us high and low…here we are high

Then he took us back down low where we spent hours in this beautiful water

Then we took a million pictures here until we broke the camera

After an amazing time on the island we went back to the boat and went back to bed and woke up to take care of this:

After we got that under control we hung out on the boat playing alot of this:

After a couple days at sea we ended up here where we noticed a temperature change= COLD: Bermuda

After a wonderful time on the pink sand beach we hopped back on the boat, went to bed and woke up here where we noticed a significant temperature change= FREEZING: NYC

Jon & I took my parents on their first subway and that added in its own adventure.  We ate some amazing food & hung out all over NYC & can officially check off just about every means of transportation after this trip. Keep an eye out for more to come from Jon’s camera as we really snagged some great ones of everyone, yes of course we “worked” a little on our vaca!
