We are so excited that we finally got to take family photos…the not so exciting part, by the time we got ready to start shooting, Emma was exhausted and didn’t want to take photos.  So for those of you who know her, you know she had to be very tired because taking photos with daddy is one of her favorite things to do.  Example: Facebook  So despite this, Ben & Chrys with Ben Q Photography did a GREAT job of being VERY patient and still snagging some cute photos of our little family.

I absolutely LOVE the photos of these two!  Gosh they look so much alike.  My two favorite things in the entire world!!!

Here is Jonathan’s Family, its Emma’s first thanksgiving.

Well most of y’all know that we have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of our little one Emma Eilsey and we are excited to say, she is on her way! Samantha was admitted into the hospital Thursday night and is ready to get this show on the road. We can not wait to see if Emma has Samantha’s red hair and Jonathan’s button nose.  We will keep everyone updated on the progress and we promise the cutests pictures EVER are only hours away!

So, as you can guess, we may be out of touch for just a couple days while we learn how to be parents. We are so excited to take on this crazy, wild ride we keep hearing about from other parents.

We also wanted to share a few of our favorite maternity photos. While we are not maternity photographers by trade, we did have a lot of fun taking these. Well, the day has finally come!  Jonathan and I shot our first maternity photo session with some great friends of our the Quinones Family.  Its so funny how something like taking maternity photos can make you have to think outside the box so much.  We had alot of fun, learned alot, had some great laughs and then went out for burger in the end.  It was a wonderful time.  It was great seeing Ashely and Joey again and as always it was great being entertained by their crew Julesy and Brody.  Here are a few photos of “Baby Girl” in mommy’s tummy.

Ashley is the girl we all want to be when pregnant.  The super cute blonde in heels with nothing more than a bump when she turns profile.  She is so adorable!

After we decided it was getting too freezing cold we ran back to the Quinones house to take some photos there and to have some fun with the family.

And this is about how much excitement we got from the kiddos.  Haha, I think they were hungry and ready to play

Emerlee Ruth Quinones arrived on March 2nd at 1:48pm at 7.9lbs and 19″ long.  Everyone is doing great!

So this is a bittersweet post for me (Samantha).  Our dear friends the Burcaws came into town to visit us at the same time I came down with a horrible cold.  This being said, I was not able to participate and play with everyone throughout the weekend.  Despite this, Jonathan and the Burcaws still made a point to have some fun and avoid getting sick.  We had a blast posing little Lily here in the studio for a few fun shots.  I was so glad I was able to participate in those before they all headed out to the Dallas Arboretum for some Fun in the Sun!  It was a beautiful weekend and Lily looked absolutely adorable sitting amongst the lilies.  Here are just a few of her precious outdoor photos.

Howdy! Welcome to Aggie Land!  This post will consist of nothing but Maroon & White and Aggies, why is this?  Cause when two Aggie sisters marry two Aggie boys and start a family, you get this.  Enjoy this fabulous family and their Aggie family photo shoot.

Katie the brunette is sisters with Melissa the blond and the guys on either side of them are their husbands.  Melissa is holding their little one Landon (more great photos of him to come).  They did this photo shoot as a surprise to their parents for Christmas.  We had alot of fun down in College Station running around on game day taking photos and joining in on the Aggie celebration!

Welcome back from Thanksgiving, hope that you had a wonderful time with family and friends and enjoyed lots of wonderful food! Here I go again breaking our “we don’t photograph newborns rule” but I couldn’t think of a better exception to the rule than for this family. We always love when we get to work with one of our couples again and we especially love when we get to meet a new member of their family and this was such a double occassion.  We were able to meet Ms Bridy and her new cousin Mr Colin as well as get to see our bride and groom Peggy & Travis McDavid.
