First of all, I, Samantha, am so excited to finally share with you my cousin Madison’s beautiful country chic wedding.  She is a DIY bride who created all of this herself and man she did an awesome job. This wedding was so cute!  Everything fell into place perfectly and everyone had such a wonderful time.  It was my first time to be both a bridesmaid and photographer which was alot of fun, basically the best of both worlds.  Madison married a completely wonderful guy, Jesse…Welcome to the Family!  Their wedding was simply perfect in my opinion.  I seriously could have posted 50 photos with ease but after much thought and time I narrowed it down to these favorites.  Please enjoy the gorgeous wedding of Madison and Jesse Usrey!

I, Samantha, am so very excited to share this adorable engagement photo shoot with you for two reasons: 1) Madison is my cousin and the last of us 4 girls (my sister, myself and my cousin Meghan who is her sister) to get married and 2) This is for sure the CUTEST engagement session we have done!  Madison & Jesse are both laid back, carefree personalities with a vintage flair to not only their wardrobes but life in general.  This is just 1 of many reasons why they are so perfect for each other!  They told us they were going to rent a tandem bike, I was so excited when they brought the bike to their photo shoot (they hard time finding a place that has tandem bike rentals in San Antonio! They used Abel’s Bike Shop) then out pops a red balloon Jesse picked up for the photo shoot, isn’t he cute?! Jonathan & I drove to San Antonio for this session on perhaps one of the first beautiful days of 2011.  Don’t you just love when everything just falls into place?  We do!  Here are just a few of their adorable vintage tandem bike engagement photos.

Below Jesse and Madison are inside a tiny rock structure in Brakenridge Park in San Antonio, TX.  While taking picture in here Jesse told us he performed a play inside here back in elementary school.  We asked if he would perform for us and he said no, maybe another time!

Jesse had played soccer just about his entire life so they brought along a soccer ball to have a little fun with!

Didn’t Madison pick out the best outfits!  So cute and so them.  I adore how cute they both look in these photos!

Welcome to the family Jesse!  We hope you are ready for all the insanity that is the Williams/Bowden family!  We love yall!

We had so much fun on this engagement photo shoot with this amazing couple!  We met Kendra and Oscar through our favorite South Texas Wedding Planner Amy Canterbury. We met up with this cute couple at the Fulton Mansion in Rockport, TX where we took photos in front of this historical building then headed across the street to play by the water.  It was a clear day with great lighting, we love days like this.  From there we headed downtown Rockport to run around the old streets and take advantage of the brightly painted walls.  Kendra did an awesome job of picking out their outfits for this photo shoot! Oscar, being the artist he is, brought his guitar and serenaded us all.  After this photo shoot we are considering hiring him to come with us everywhere and strum on his guitar, it was so peaceful and really set up a great environment.   Here are just a few photos of the fabulous couple.

Happy Holidays Yall!  Hope 2010 treated you well cause 2011 is almost here!  We had a wonderful year here at Jonathan Ivy.  We met several great families and a few great pets but I have to say I think that Moose was favorite.  He is a fun, loving labrador who is not only as big as a moose but also in love with his pet moose.  He loves his parents and having fun as you will see in the following photos.  We give you Kirk, Jeniffer and Moose Schumacher.
