Have we mentioned that we LOVE doing post wedding photo shoots?  We call them Mr & Mrs Sessions and they are composed of just about anything: trash the dress, rock the dress, basic couple photo shoots or a combination of them all as you will see here.  This is yet another fabulous and crazy Rachel Events couple.  April & Shelby have been so much fun throughout this entire process.  These two are just crazy as you are about to see in the following photos.  We kicked things off at the Grapevine Train Station and then we headed out to Grapevine Lake to wrap things up.  So sit back, relax and enjoy!

We absolutely LOVE Mr & Mrs Sessions!  With a post wedding session like this we are able to go out and do all the things we did not do the day of.  Here Amanda and Mark met us back out at their ceremony and reception site where they had their winery wedding at Delaney Vineyards for a little fun in the sun.  Aren’t they an adorable couple!  We had so many wonderful photos that I wish I could put them all on here, but I think Jonathan would kill me, so here are just a few of my favorite photos from their winery inspired Mr and Mrs Session.

It is not very often that we get to do Mr & Mrs Photo Sessions but I must admit they are so much fun.  There is no pressure, the couple is already happily married and having fun and they are willing to try all sorts of unique things so we just go and play.  We had just such a shoot the other day with Mr & Mrs Almond.  We photographed Coby & Valarie’s wedding back in June of 2010 so it was great to see them again on a very cold but pretty January day in the arts district of Dallas.  We kicked things off in their wedding clothes then changed into an everyday outfit to go hang out on the trolley. Happy Holidays Yall!  Hope that November treated you well cause December is almost here.  We had a wonderful November here at Jonathan Ivy.  We met several great families and a few great pets but I have to say I think that Moose was favorite.  He is a fun, loving labrador who is not only as big as a moose but also in love with his pet moose.  He loves his parents and having fun as you will see in the following photos.  We give you Kirk, Jeniffer and Moose Schumacher.

In the photo below Jeniffer is holding the rosary that Kirk gave her for their wedding.  It is so beautiful how elegantly she is holding it.

Day After Session turned Trash the Dress Session in the beautiful blue Mexican Waters!

We are excited to post our first Trash the Dress session here on our blog.  We are also excited that it is a session from our destination wedding to the Riviera Maya.  We love Beach Weddings and beach Trash the Dress sessions! Zakary & Natali rode horses for the first time ever on this shoot which led to quite an interesting experience.  Between the new riders in their wedding attire and the raw Mexican horses we had quite an entertaining shoot.  We also had a mix of beautiful, blue clouds and scary, rain clouds leaving us chasing the good light and pretty water.  All in all we had a wonderful time together and snagged some cute shots. Here are just a few of our favorites from that morning.
