Crystal Ballroom at the Rice Hotel

The crystal ballroom at the Rice Hotel was restored to its original 1913 glory and is truly a classic wedding venue in Houston. This is going to be the most luxurious French wedding venue in the Houston area. Located on Champions Dr near Champions Golf Course on a 5 acre plot of land sits a true representation of a European estate. This french inspired chateau has over 25,000 square feet of imported antiques, chandeliers, grand fireplaces, libraries, wine cellars, bed rooms, and more bed rooms. Its currently being finished out and should be open by August 2012. If you want to hold your wedding in a French chateau you are going to have to act pretty quickly, this is going to be awesome.
The Parador

Located near downtown Houston, this mediterranean style venue was built in 1928 and is now a Texas historical landmark. The Main room, The Duomo seats up to 200 people for a reception in its 5 sided, 35 feet tall domed ceiling room and over 300 for a ceremony. A separate dinning area, the Cloister, can seat an additional 200 people. The Gardens also offer an exquisite area for an outdoor tented wedding ceremony or reception. This is a very luxurious wedding venue in Houston and offers a very unique twist to the usual Houston wedding venue. The gardens are my favorite part!
